Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard today (likely) played his final ever game at Stamford Bridge in a 1-1 draw with the Premier League champions.
Having scored the equaliser,
Chelsea fans were in no mood to be kind to their ‘dear enemy’ until Gerrard was substituted off the pitch.
Gerrard was treated to a standing ovation from the home support as he exited the pitch, despite their signs taunting the 34 year old midfielder.
