Alexis Sanchez has earned plenty of new admirers following his sparkling debut season in England with Arsenal.
And now the Chile international has shown his softer side by taking the time to take a picture with a fan who rushed to greet him upon his arrival back in his home country.
The supporter’s attempt to get to the Arsenal star was initially thwarted by three policemen – but after seeing the fan, Sanchez himself stepped in to snap a photo with her.
The 26-year-old arrived back in Chile fresh from helping Arsenal retain their FA Cup title with a 4-0 victory over Aston Villa in Saturday’s final.
