After completing a deal for first right of refusal on Gerson, it is being reported in Brazil that the Catalan side are now hoping to complete a deal for Fluminense’s centre back Marlon and striker Kenedy.
Despite the reports, Barcelona would not be able to make the signings until next January as they are still under a sanction from a UEFA transfer ban.
According to Lancenet, the Brazilian club Fluminense have decided not to make any comments about the possible deal so that they don’t obstruct any ongoing negotiations.
Barcelona paid around 10 million euros for the Gerson deal, and expect to have to pay around £20 million to conclude the deals for Marlon and Kenedy.
Kenedy was linked with Manchester United a couple of months ago, but that rumour now appears to have died.
Barcelona play Juventus in the Champions League final on Saturday – a win would give them an historic treble.
